About David Brooks

World Champion of Public Speaking

Toastmasters International, the world’s largest and best organization to help develop speaking, listening, and leadership skills, conducts a series of speech competitions among its more than 200,000 members worldwide. An estimated 25,000 members enter the first round of competition, with the winner advancing to higher and progressively more difficult challenges. In the final competition, ten of the best speakers in the world face off in front of an audience of more than 2,000 people. The winner, as determined by a panel of international judges, is awarded the rare and prestigious title of World Champion of Public Speaking. This is the title I earned in 1990.
